The New York State Society will again be gathering at Anderson House in Washington, D.C. to celebrate Evacuation Day, 2009. As in the past, members are invited to arrive early for a light meal and entertainment on Friday evening, 20 November. On Saturday, after breakfast, we will hold the usual business meeting followed by a relaxed afternoon luncheon. An evening reception and elegant banquet will conclude the event in the high style to which we have become accustomed . Cincinnati will be receiving further details in the months ahead. Suffice it to say that these occasions are always memorable and well worth attending.

Plan to join fellow Cincinnati in a gala meeting to celebrate the  birthday of George Washington in The City (New York) on 20 February  2010. There was talk about having an evening banquet in 2010, rather than the traditional luncheon. However, the schedule has not yet been developed and there remains much to be orchestrated. Look for more information on this festive event toward the end of the year.
